DEMOGRAPHICS - Births by County
County  |  Age Group  |  Ethnicity  |  Population Type
Birth rates in all counties have declined from 1980 to 2011. The largest decrease was in Maui and Hawai'i, with decreases of 31.9 percent and 25.6 percent, respectively. Kaua'i experienced a 24.6 percent decrease in its birth rate while Honolulu's birth rate declined the least, at 19.6 percent, due in part to its larger military population.
